This is what we do
We are a young Belgian based company and we are proud to say that we are the first to implement the use of AR in the medical world. We are very excited about our contribution to the field of medical image, and we can’t wait to discover where these techniques will lead us in the (near) future.
ARtery3D is the newest smartphone app to visualize any patient’s unique arterial anatomy with AR. It all started with our founder and CEO: Prof. Dr. Benoit Hendrickx who wanted to turn his dream of seeing through someone’s skin into reality. One thing lead to another and before we knew it: ARtery3D was born!
Thanks to our application, it is possible to inject fillers in the exact right place – with a lot more accuracy. Not only does it improve the quality of filler treatments, but is also guarantees the best client experience possible. By going just a few steps further than your client’s expectations, you can take the lead in customer service AND be a pioneer in using innovative technologies when it comes to performing filler procedures.
If there’s one thing we can definitely agree on: it’s that our app is on point, so that’s one check! But what about our working environment and team spirit? Let’s find out!
The faces behind ARtery3D
Being proud of our product is one thing, but how is the general working atmosphere at ARtery3D? Here are a few exclusive questions answered by our CCO, Thomas Vanden Wyngaerdt. He gave a transparent view of what is feels like to work in the fascinating world of aesthetic & cosmetic procedures… and to be a part of our team, of course.
Hello Thomas, what is your exact role within ARtery3D?
I work within Augmented Anatomy (the company behind ARtery3D) as a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with two main tasks and responsibilities:
- There’s a strong focus on expanding the direct sales into new territories, which means I have a lot of contact with all sorts of (international) companies in the broad aesthetic field.
- I oversee marketing and PR activities
The duality in my job provides a pleasant and inspiring variety!
How long have you worked for ARtery3D and why did you want to work for our company in the first place?
I started working for the company on November 1st, 2021. The reason why I wanted to joined this team is because I have a strong passion and preference for starting up new businesses. The vibrant atmosphere, the enthusiasm and the ambition to grow is unique to the start-up setting and encourages admirable performance from your team members. Having the opportunity to come work for a (young) company among the first to implement technology and the use of augmented reality (AR) in the medical world was surely the sweet spot. I haven’t regretted it one single day since the first day I worked here.
What do you like most about working for ARtery3D?
Experiencing from the first row how the field of medicine is on an ongoing change together with a team of inhouse experts is exceptional and feels incredible to me. In addition, I’m able to contribute to our overall strategy for the future which makes it extremely exciting as a day-to-day job. It makes me grow confidence, knowledge and it broadens my horizon and my network.
How would you describe the corporate atmosphere within ARtery3D and between the team members?
I would describe the atmosphere everything but corporate, as the team is very diverse and we’re still in that young, start-up, vibrant culture. I would more likely say that the current team is very multidisciplinary whereas we maintain very close relationships within all departments.
We stimulate the room and space for individuals to spread their thoughts and ideas in combination with sparring moments across the different layers of the company. We implement a very flat hierarchy as we strongly believe in the strength of our employees and we are always on the search for new talent to add to the team.
How do you see the future of aesthetics and how do you think ARtery3D fits in that picture?
It’s no secret that the world of aesthetics and more generally, the field of medicine, is currently in a process to evolve to a world where technology will be key and bright. There are many new techniques and technologies in the pipeline and I must admit, I personally can’t wait to watch all these various technologies evolve. It’s very exciting to see what the future has in store for us.
Well, so are we, Thomas!
Conclusion: vibrant, aligned & likeminded!
Working in the field of aesthetics is interesting enough. Within the walls of ARtery3D there is a young, team-oriented attitude. Is it due to the start-up energy, or does it come from the fact that our technology is really promising? We work without hierarchy and we enrich each other’s work day, and that’s what makes a fun workplace. Besides from innovative app development and strategies, we put effort in a positive mindset and mood.
Watch out, it’s not all fun and games. Our team works really hard to optimize our ideas, our branding, our strategy and the way we put ARtery3D out there, to the world. It’s fair to conclude that we’re doing quite well so far, and that we can safely set our sights a little higher.
We can’t wait to see what the following years will bring for ARtery3D and the future of fillers!
