Everything we've done in the last 12 months makes us to face the new year 2025 with optimism
A year can fly by… but now it’s time to review everything we’ve done in the last 12 months… to face the new year 2025 that’s just around the corner with optimism. And at Augmented Anatomy we couldn’t be more proud of the work we’ve done in the last year… in which we’ve continued to strive in our efforts to make augmented reality give a boost to the world of aesthetics. So that professionals feel more secure and with more tools when working and that patients feel that security and continue to go to clinics and medical centers with the certainty of being in good hands.
And what did we do in our last 12 months, what did we do in 2024… from our team and in the world of aesthetics? Well, an endless number of projects, activities, conferences or development of tools that we tell and teach to aesthetic professionals, men and women who treat and operate on a daily basis and who see Augmented Anatomy as a perfect ally.
The IMCAS World Congress 2024 took center stage as a hub of innovation in the aesthetics field. This globally acclaimed event brought together, in Paris, a diverse community of medical professionals, researchers, and experts dedicated to advancing healthcare. As a pioneer in aesthetic procedure technology, our founder Prof. Dr. Benoit Hendrickx seized the opportunity to demonstrate our potential and explain how our technology is transforming aesthetic medicine on an international platform.
The world of cosmetic surgery is constantly evolving, and staying up to date with the latest trends and practices is essential for professionals in the sector. Three different events captured the attention of the medical community: the Masterclasses taught by Dr. Karl Waked and Dr. Alba Martínez, on June and another Masterclass taught by Dr. Paez on november. These events, organized by the Centre for European Master´s Programmes (CEMP) not only stood out for their quality and innovation, but also for the high participation and widespread acclaim of attendees. Dr. Karl Waked offered a webinar that became a true milestone for aesthetic surgery professionals. Dr. Alba Martínez presented a webinar focused on a vitally important topic: the prevention and management of complications in aesthetic surgeries. And Dr. Páez stressed the importance of not neglecting this area, which is often forgotten but essential for aesthetic harmony.
We travelled to Malaga to participate in the National Congress of Aesthetic Medicine, SEME 2024. Thanks to Teoxane Laboratories, we had the honour of participate in a conference attended by over 700 surgeons, who showed great interest in the potential of our innovative tools. There were numerous presentations, discussions, interventions and explanations of success stories that dealt with the techniques and resources used by aesthetic medicine professionals who try to provide the best solutions for patients. Hence, we’re present.
Professor and doctor Benoit Hendrickx, founder and president of Augmented Anatomy, once again attended one of those great forums of aesthetic medicine attended by the best and most prestigious surgeons in the world. He travelled as well to the 22nd Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine World Congress 2024 that took place on March 27-29 in the Principality of Monaco. Throughout the three days that this aesthetic medicine event lasted, we had the honour of being present as one of the leading companies in augmented reality applied to aesthetic medicine. Our founder and president of Augmented Anatomy was able to address the congress on four occasions.
Thanks to the growing interest in Great Britain in the benefits in the medical field of augmented reality in general, famous journalist Alice Hart-Davis contacted us because she wanted to do a report on the advantages of the treatments and operations that are carried out in your country previously using our application. She went to the Phi Clinic in London, where she was able to interview a patient and her doctor, Dr. Amanda Penny, as well as our representative of Augmented Reality in the UK, Caroline Gwilliam, a report that has been published in The Tweakments Guide. The journalist was able to see the sensations it generates in both the professional and the patient.
